About me
The beauty of my work is dealing with many different people and their stories on a daily basis, which is a true enrichment for my own experience and knowledge.
I am Sonja Wieser. I have been teaching German as a foreign and second language for over 10 years now, but I still feel like I am constantly learning something new. Working in an environment with people from diverse backgrounds is an enriching experience and it helps me to better understand different cultures and perspectives.
Education & Experience
- since 2021: ÖIF examiner (Austrian Integration Fund) for levels A1 to B2
- since 2016: AHS teacher (Academic Secondary School) in Vienna
- since 2015: ÖSD examiner (German Language Certificate Austria) for levels A1 to C1
- 2014/2015: Bachelor’s degree in German Philology and Master’s degree in German and Czech (teacher education programme) at the University of Vienna
- 2014/15: Certificates “Gender Mainstreaming” and “Diversity Management”
- 2014: Authorised by the ÖIF (Austrian Integration Fund) to hold German integration courses as part of the Integration Agreement
- since 2012: GFL/GSL teacher (German as a foreign language/ German as a second language teacher) in adult education in Austria and abroad
- born 1989 in Weinviertel, Lower Austria
